PERSONAL HISTORY:
I fell in love with fitness during my teen years. I ran track and cross country in high school, and then completed two Grandma’s Marathons and a 30-mile run. In the mid-1980s I began managing health clubs and teaching group-fitness classes. In June of 2000 I opened my own workout studio, and it was there that I developed Force Fitness - a one-stop fitness routine designed for busy women who don’t have time to spend hours in the gym, but still look like they do! Force Fitness is an interval workout that increases cardiovascular endurance, muscle endurance and flexibility, sculpts muscles, and burns major calories.
WORKOUT PHILOSOPHY:
I perform FORCE FITNESS workouts at least four times a week, and enjoy a brisk walk on the treadmill. I LOVE to crank up the tunes, move my body and have fun, so working out is never a pain - it’s a pleasure. I feel that it is important to find a form of exercise movement that you enjoy and then stick to an exercise regime that works for you. Sometimes it takes commitment and hard work to achieve the results you want, but there are so many benefits to being physically fit that it is well worth your effort. Remember, you can have anything you want. Keep your standards high, set your goals and go for it!
